Living in the middle of nowhere in deepest Sardinia is not the most propitious of positions to be in when you have a book to promote. Covid blighted my previous two book tours and so now, 4 years and 3 books later, here I am at last, coming to bookshops/cafes near you!
With a toothy 9 month-year old in tow, I will be cooking, demonstrating and talking up and down the country, and I would absolutely love to finally meet you in the flesh. During the last four years, social media has been a gift, even to someone as technologically timid as myself, because it allowed me to see my books out in the world and in your hands and kitchens. It has been moving and magnificent, and I am eternally grateful to you for building all of the buzz that I am so damn bad at doing myself! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I would be SO happy to talk to you, to cook for you, to force bottarga on you (I can make you love it! I promise!), just one more time before I disappear again for another year and close myself in a dark room with the cat and some cake to try and write another book.
